Performance depends on availability of the network used to communicate between the device running LaserOS and the LaserCube. If you connect over WiFi via a router and the entire family is using it, with someone streaming Netflix at 4k, the projections will break up.
If your neighbor has a WiFi extender in every room and running a WiFi analyser app shows every WiFi channel in use at high signal strengths, the projections will break up.
For outdoor use, “open field” the WiFi connection is great.
For indoor use, where the WiFi network is congested or there are interfering networks present, a wired Ethernet connection is preferable.
Android OS versions below 10 have particularly poor UDP performance over WiFi, so should be avoided.
